Through themes of self-awareness, emotional healing, relationships, spiritual development, and consciousness, the teachings provide a guided journey of inner discovery and transformation. Healing happens more deeply when we feel truly seen. This group offers a dedicated space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to explore Pathwork in community — held with cultural responsiveness, shared understanding, and care.

Mindful Self-Compassion

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an evidence-based program. Self-compassion provides resilience, allowing us to acknowledge unmet needs and motivate ourselves with kindness. Three key components are self-kindness, common humanity, and mindful awareness.

Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities (SCHC) A 6-week evidence-based program, adapted from MSC for healthcare professionals — addressing burnout, compassion fatigue, and the unique emotional demands of caring for others. Kripalu Yoga & Ayurveda

Kripalu Yoga teaches us to use our practices on and off the mat as we learn to access the body’s wisdom. Rather than striving for the perfect pose, Kripalu Yoga uses postures and yogic techniques to reveal our true essence.

Kimberly Middleton, RN, MPH, MS is the founder of Path of Compassion, LLC and a holistic wellness educator specializing as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC), trained Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) Teacher, Kripalu Yoga Teacher (RYT500) & Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher (AYT500) and Pathwork Helper.

She brings a rare blend of clinical expertise and deep contemplative practice to her teaching — grounded in the belief that lasting wellness is always relational, culturally responsive, and whole-person.

She serves clients online and in the Greater Washington, DC area, and is the founder of the BIPOC Pathwork Affinity Group. She is available for speaking engagements, workshops, and community collaborations.
